Founded by Durga, a physiotherapist with a decade of experience, Calmfit is a practice which encourages gentle, effective practices for long-term strength and wellness. We've worked with over 200 clients and helped them fall back in love with movement

Our philosophy

We do not believe in 'more pain, more gain'. Our aim is to help you build muscles by keeping your joints and low-back happy. We do this with slow, effective exercises and helping you understand biomechanics

  • Whole-body focus: We treat more than just the problem area and help prevent future injuries

  • Gentle start: We begin with easy exercises like resistance bands, then slowly add more weights

  • Fitness for everyone: Our oldest client is 65, we tailor programs that work with your body and activity levels

  • Mind, sleep and nutrition: Just exercising will not help you get fit. We'll help you tailor your lifestyle and get stronger

  • Do what you love: We'll help you surf, play basketball or even climb The Everest. Calmfit does not restrict movement or dreams

Clinical physiotherapy

With trained physiotherapists under our belt, Calmfit helps you mitigate health challenges with exercise. Talk to us if you are having difficulties arising from clinical disorders
